We brewed this Hazy DIPA with an array of citrus forward hops on both the hot side and in the dry hop, then hit it after fermentation with a modest amount of blood orange puree to accentuate the citrusy hop flavors. The goal in creating this beer was to craft a balance between citrus hop flavor and citrus fruit flavor, meshing the two worlds in a hazy, juicy package that’s soft on the palate, yet drier and more thirst quenching for the hot weather. We also fermented the beer with our house hazy strain at a lower temperature, so that the ester profile is cleaner and more subdued in order for the citrus flavors to shine. Malts are super clean, and consistent with the hazy IPA structure -

Appearance - Hazy pale orange

Aroma- Big orange, tangerine, grapefruit - mixed citrus, background notes of pineapple and mango.

MOUTH-FEEL

Flavor - Somewhat reminiscent of San Pellegrino Blood Orange soda - big citrus notes up front - mandarin
