- Sycamore Brewing debuts Mango Cider, a part of its seasonal spring lineup (5.7% ABV). The Charlotte-born brewery produced a cider that has big mango flavor, crisp and ideal for outdoor sipping during the warmer months.
- Mango Cider is a semi-dry, unfiltered cider conditioned with mango puree and a small amount of white peach puree for complexity. The cider is fermented with a house cider yeast - a “bubbly,” dry strain that lends the cider a light body and a crisp, effervescent finish. This process allowed for a clean canvas on which to layer the fruit over.
- The cider appears slightly hazy and is a light golden color. After the bold mango flavor, the taste is slightly earthy and piney in the middle, which gives way to a pleasing mixture of tartness and fruity sweetness on the back end.
